Berger was no expatriate

Published: Friday, July 29, 2005 2:31 AM EDT
We are correcting a major error in the article "Memorial move in the works" (CJN, July 22), regarding the David Berger memorial.

Our son is described as an "expatriate." David (who was slain by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Olympics held in Munich) proudly held dual citizenship in Israel and the United States. At no time did he ever consider giving up his U.S. citizenship.
