Ex-AIPAC staffers subpoena Rice, Hadley
WASHINGTON (JTA) — Two former American Israel Public Affairs Committee staffers subpoenaed top Bush administration officials to testify at their trial.
Steve Rosen, AIPAC’s former foreign policy director, and Keith Weissman, its former Iran analyst, filed subpoenas March 10 for Condoleezza Rice, the U.S. secretary of state; Stephen Hadley, the national security adviser; Elliott Abrams, the deputy national security adviser; William Burns, the top State Department envoy to the Middle East; David Satterfield, Burns’ former deputy and the current deputy ambassador to Iraq; and a number of former officials.
