Linda Grossman (nee Steinbook) died Sept. 14, 2013. She was 62.
Born in New York City on May 7, 1951, Mrs. Grossman attended the High School of Music and Arts. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in human development from Cornell in 1972, a master of arts degree in counseling psychology from New York University in 1973 and an master of social work degree from NYU in 1976. Mrs. Grossman worked in private practice psychotherapy and was a member of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Institute. She also belonged to the Mayfield Country Club and enjoyed travel, especially to exotic locations, reading, and spending time with friends.
Mrs. Grossman is survived by her husband Ted Grossman, sons Michael Grossman of Chicago and Andrew Grossman of Agoura Mills, Calif, father Nathan Steinbook and brother Mel Steinbook of Bethlehem, Penn. She was predeceased by her mother Helen Steinbook.
Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights. Interment Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence 2979 Broxton Rd., Shaker Heights Tuesday following services until 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday evenings 6-9pm.
