Captains’ ‘Hot Stove’ dinner Jan. 30

The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will host their 12th annual Hot Stove dinner from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30 at Classic Park in Eastlake.

Cleveland Indians pitching coach Mike Callaway will be the keynote speaker. The Captains’ new manager, Mark Budzinski, will also address attendees. Several top prospects from the Cleveland Indians organization are expected to be in attendance.

Callaway, Budzinski and the players will sign autographs and participate in a question-and-answer session during the program. The event also will include a buffet dinner, a cash bar and a silent auction of Captains, Indians and other baseball memorabilia.

Tickets cost $35 for adults and $25 for children.
