OSBA recognizes Deborah A. Coleman

Deborah A. Coleman, a Cleveland attorney, received the 2013 John C. and Ginny Pro Bono Award from Supreme Court of Ohio Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor at the Ohio State Bar Association Annual Convention in Cleveland on Friday, May 10. Coleman is a partner at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP and was nominated for the award by Ann McGowen Porath, Esq., of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.

Coleman is a participant of the Cleveland Legal Aid’s Brief Advice and Referral Clinics, which allows people of lower-income to seek legal advice from attorneys about their civil legal needs. She also is on the board of directors for the Cleveland Jewish News.

Coleman is regularly listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine. She was a member on the Ohio Supreme Court’s Task Force on the Rules of Professional Conduct, which pushed for more opportunities for people with low income to receive legal services.
