Meet the members of CJN Tomorrow

CJN Tomorrow provides Cleveland Jewish community members between 18 and 40 with an opportunity to advise the Cleveland Jewish News on coverage, events, publications and distribution channels with the goal of increasing overall engagement and readership.

What does being a member of the Jewish community mean to you?

It’s like being in an elite friend and networking group.

What Jewish organizations are you involved with?

Moishe house, CJN Tomorrow, JCLE, FYP, YLD

Why do you stay involved in the Jewish community?

It’s what I grew up with and have always known and I know that I have something in common with everyone. 

How do your friends and family shape your Jewish involvement?

Most of my friends are Jewish and our background and culture come up in daily life in a myriad of ways.

What non-Jewish organizations are you involved with and why?

Running, Frisbee, and environmental groups because I’m passionate about exercise and the outdoors.

Why is CJN Tomorrow important and what do you hope to accomplish through it?

The ability to get a younger audience perspective of the Cleveland Jewish News.

What do you like about the Cleveland Jewish News?

Local, national and international articles from a local, Jewish perspective.

What is your favorite activity to do in Cleveland?

Running around town or in the Cleveland Metroparks.

What is your favorite Jewish tradition?

Eating my grandma’s home-cooked meals. 

What is your favorite Israel moment?

The first time I hiked Mt Tzfahot overlooking Eilat.

What is your favorite Jewish holiday and why?

Pesach because I get to watch the "Prince of Egypt."

What is your favorite Jewish food?

Mandel bread

Were you involved in a Jewish youth organization?

David Berger, BBYO... also Park Day Camp
