International singer and entertainer David “Dudu” Fisher performed songs in American and Yiddish at the Workmen’s Circle 41st annual Yiddish Concert in the Park on June 30. About 950 people enjoyed the concert at Evans Amphitheater in Cain Park in Cleveland Heights. Fisher’s 3-year-old son, Samuel Michael,

appeared briefly on stage with his father. The concert also honored musician Norm Tischler of Cleveland Heights, the late director of the Workmen’s Circle Klezmer Orchestra, who died in January. The Cleveland Jewish News was the media sponsor of the event. | CJN Photos / Bob Jacob
