Blanche and Herbert Caron celebrated their special 75th anniversary this week with family and friends over Zoom.
Dr. and Mrs. Caron have been longtime Parma residents and active members of Beth Israel-The West Temple for over 60 years. Dr. Caron was a research and clinical psychologist at the VA Hospital and was on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University. He continued a robust clinical practice after retirement.
Mrs. Caron worked in research on premature infants, a joint project of Case Western University Medical School, Rainbow Babies and Children’s and University Hospital. Dr. Caron worked tirelessly as a founder of the Cleveland Council on Soviet Antisemitism on behalf of Jews in the former Soviet Union. He has been a strong supporter of the Parma City School District and other civic organizations.
The Carons are the parents of Chaim, Jim, Wendy and Peter; grandparents of Woody, Alissa, Alex, Laila, Nadav, Yotam, Matan, Anna and David; and great-grandparents of Marley, Wofl, Ara, Amelia, Conan, Kiri and Fiala.
