Murray Berlin, beloved husband of Marcia Berlin; father to Stephanie (Steve), Lisa (Perry), Grant (Melissa), Valerie and Mitchell (Milan); and grandfather to Aaron, Jarrod, Isabella and Aliza Baden, Ryan and Alex Berlin, Spencer, Lindsay, Griffin and Ivy Berlin and Zoey and Phoebe Berlin, passed away on Oct. 5, 2019. He was 92 years old.

Murray was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and made his way to Cleveland as an independent sales representative where he met his wife of 60 years, Marcia. Together, they raised their five children while enjoying travel, tennis and the company of good friends.

Murray, an avid story teller, will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor and his love of preparing, cooking and eating gourmet cuisine. He was most happy spending time with his family, dancing and listening to great music.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 11 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 South Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights. Interment is at Mount Olive Cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following interment until 8 p.m. Oct. 11 and from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at the residence, 607 Magnolia Lane in Chagrin Falls.
