Brian Allen Friedman, 53, of Cleveland, died Jan. 31, 2018.
Brian was born on Dec. 25, 1964, in Los Angeles to parents Richard and Marlene Friedman. The family returned to Cleveland, where Brian grew up in Pepper Pike, graduating from Orange High School in 1983. A bright and energetic student, he was eager and inquisitive. He was also an outstanding member of the Orange tennis team.

Brian attended The Ohio State University, majoring in hotel and restaurant management. He worked throughout his life as a salesperson in the insurance industry with Nationwide Insurance and later a series of companies in the home remodeling field. Throughout his life, Brian loved to read, to learn, to consider. He enjoyed listening to a wide variety of musical styles and was a lifelong “suffering “ fan of Cleveland sports teams.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sandra Friedman; brother, Randall Klein and wife, Susan; brother, David Friedman; and sister, Wendy Cohen and husband, Steven. Additionally, nephew Michael Klein; nieces Alexis Klein, Rachel Cohen and Michelle Cohen; and uncle and aunt, Larry and Cay Friedman.
