Beverly Gill (nee Rogoff), 91, passed away July 14, 2019, at Wiggin’s Place in Beachwood. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland.

Born to Rose Mittelman Rogoff and Harry Rogoff in Cleveland on Feb. 18, 1928, Beverly graduated from Glenville High School. She held positions at Bellefaire JCB, Margaret Wagner House at Benjamin Rose Institute and Case Western Reserve University. Beverly also served as the board president of True Sisters, was active with Childcare Association, taught English as a second language to immigrants and was involved with the World Health Organization.

Beverly loved sewing, traveling and keeping current on civic affairs, arts and culture.

Family and friends were important to Beverly. She was blessed to dance at the weddings of her six grandchildren, here and in Israel, and delighted in her 14 great-grandchildren to whom she taught life-long lessons of importance.

Her wit, smile and graciousness were magnetic.

Beverly was the beloved wife of 68 years to Sanford (deceased); loving mother of Linda (Jeffrey) Spitz, Alan H. (Rhona) Gill and Pamela (Jim McKnight) Gill; the devoted grandmother of Brian (Elise) Spitz, Danny (Wendy) Spitz, Andrew (Marla) Spitz, Mati (Hagit) Gill, Jordan (Nama) Gill and Hadara (Noam) Arbel; and great-grandmother of Paige, Rowen, Tyler, Haley, Maya, Ava, Mia, Emma, Daniel, Ofri, Nadav, Matan, Eitan and Shakked. She was also the dear sister of the late Bernard Rogoff. Beverly was the cherished aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Funeral services were held July 16 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4:30 and from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 17, and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 18 at 4165 Cambridge Court in Orange.
