Sammy Kay, devoted father of Domonik Simboli. Dearest brother of Harvey Kay (Jerilyn, deceased). Loving son of the late Ben and Regina Kay.

Sammy started in the car business at the age of 16. He was given his first job by Sam Marshall, who was the first Jewish Ford dealer in the country. Sammy spent all of his life in the wholesale car business.

Sammy was the co-owner of the Elsner’s and Harvey’s Restaurants, with his brother Harvey.

Sammy graduated from Beachwood High School and attended the University of Las Vegas in Nevada.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. June 5 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights. Interment is at Bet Olam Cemetery.

Family will receive friends immediately following interment on June 5 only at Acacia on the Green, 2202 Acacia Park Drive in Lyndhurst in the community room.

Contributions are suggested to the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital.
