Ethel Linden (nee Soloway) of Beachwood, passed away Sept. 21, 2019.

She was born on March 28, 1927 in Cleveland to Sarah and Charles Soloway. Ethel lived in the Glenville area where she met her high school sweetheart, soul mate and future husband of 68 years, Earl. Together they enjoyed tennis, golf, and traveling.

Ethel was a very classy woman, known for her fashion sense, style and warmth. She also enjoyed mahjong and bridge with her friends and was an extraordinary cook and baker, entertaining friends and family with elegance and flair.

Ethel was an active member of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation where she was a member of the sisterhood. She was also involved with ORT, Women’s Federation and Hadassah.

The highlight of her life was being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed family vacations. When she began spending winters in Florida, she loved when the whole family came to visit.

Ethel is survived by her loving and devoted children, Michael (Barbara), Laurel (Michael Rabovsky) Linden, and Lisa (Kenneth) Ingber; cherished and loving grandchildren, Carrie Linden, Kimberly (Craig) Levin, Courtney (Rob) Fishman, Brooke (Adam) Blum, Kelly (Ben) Urkov, Chad Ingber, Zachary (Hallie) and AJ Rabovsky; and great-grandchildren, Lyla, Parker, Hudson, Adam, Charlie, Emery, Marnie and Lucy. Ethel was predeceased by her husband Earl and siblings, Eugene (Gertrude) Soloway and Bernice (Julius) Bott.

Services were held at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation on Sept. 23 with interment at Chesterland Memorial Park.
