Justin H. Scharf, 23, died May 16, 2020. He was born in Beachwood. Justin graduated with honors from Beachwood High School, where he played on the football and baseball teams. Justin attended The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business where he was on the Dean’s List.
Justin was a sensitive, kind and caring person to everyone he knew and met. He loved animals, especially his dog, Sparky. He was extremely perceptive and smart and mastered many topics of personal interest. Justin was an avid sports fan and could quote extensive statistics for football, baseball and basketball. He especially enjoyed following the Cleveland Browns and loved watching their games with family and friends.
Justin is survived by his parents, June Scharf, Mindy and Scott Scharf; his brother, Jordan Scharf; his grandparents, Sue and Jeffry Weiler and Iris Kane; his aunts and uncles, Cheryl and Andy Scharf, Julie and Kevin Kemelhar and Lori and Philip Weiler; and his many cousins. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sue and Leonard Scharf; and his great-grandparents Flora and Jack Steinberg, Rose and Jack Scharf, Elaine and Kurt Weiler and Helen and Harold Goodman.
Justin will be enormously missed by those who loved him.
Family graveside services will be held May 20 at Mount Olive Cemetery. Family requests no visitation.
