Born to Eva and Louis Gerson on June 12, 1924, in Cleveland, Florence graduated from Glenville High School.

Before marriage, Florence worked in her mother’s dress shop, Yvette Shop, at Cedar-Center shopping center. Florence was known to be very friendly. She was well-liked and respected by all that had the pleasure to meet her.

The family would like to thank her caregivers Denise, Diane, Jean, Mary and Wanda for caring for her over the years, and making sure she was happy and comfortable.
