BIBIBOP Asian Grill, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opened its first west side location Oct. 22 at 224 Crocker Park Blvd. at Crocker Park in Westlake. The restaurant is next to Bath & Body Works.

Founded in Columbus in 2013, BIBIBOP was created on the idea that healthy Asian foods can be accessible for everyone, and is rooted in the Korean practice that food should nourish the body and mind.

“It’s a very exciting time for BIBIBOP Asian Grill as we bring more locations to our hometown, Cleveland,” Charley Shin, CEO and founder of BIBIBOP, said in a news release. “Equally important is our commitment to bring our well-being to all of the communities in which we do business by strengthening our neighbors and enriching the lives of our team members.”

BIBIBOP’s menu allows customers to choose a mixture of rice, vegetables, proteins and Asian-inspired sauces to build a bowl, salad or wrap. All ingredients are prepared on site daily.

It joins other locations at Pinecrest in Orange and in Cleveland’s University Circle neighborhood’s Uptown district.
