City Works Eatery and Pour House at Pinecrest in Orange closed Oct. 30, after only being open for a year and a half. The restaurant opened May 18, 2018, with a soft opening May 17 that benefited The Gathering Place.

Additionally, the location’s information has already been removed from Pinecrest’s website list of available restaurants.

The 9,000-square-foot pub-style restaurant was known for its draft beer selection and pub-style food offerings. Some of the brands on tap included local breweries Thirsty Dog Brewing Co., Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Jackie O’s.

Launched in 2016 in Minneapolis by Bottleneck Management, a Chicago-based company, there are 10 other locations in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Texas, Virginia and Florida. The Pinecrest location was the only one in Ohio.

Pinecrest is a mixed-use development in Orange by Fairmount Properties. City Works was at 10 Park Ave., Suite 106.
