Condado Tacos features a Scantron-style menu that allows customers to create their own taco, bowl or nacho-based dish.

Columbus-based Condado Tacos, which offers made-to-order tacos on a Scantron-style menu, will open its Crocker Park location Dec. 12 in Westlake. It is the second Cleveland-area location for the restaurant.

The Crocker Park location will be in the former Michael Kors store, and is near Starbucks, Lululemon Athletica, H&M, Graeter’s Ice Cream and American Greetings’ headquarters.

Created by Joe Kahn, Condado has an urban feel, with the locations featuring art by local graffiti and mural artists.

“When I started this company, it was always to create a place for myself, friends and family that was affordable and had high quality food you could get a couple times a week,” Kahn told the Cleveland Jewish News in December 2018. “Creating that community with the staff and people that come in, it’s been number one for us.”

Like other Condado locations, the menu is designed so customers can build their own tacos or bowls. Customers choose from tortilla options and move onto proteins, cheeses, salsas, sauces and other toppings. Some menu offerings include hard corn and flour shells, beef brisket, Thai chili tofu, fajita peppers and onions, three different types of cheese and four salsas. Pre-made taco suggestions are also available, as well as nachos and other sides.

Condado Tacos opened its first location in Columbus’ Short North neighborhood in 2014 and has locations in Pennsylvania and Indiana. The first Cleveland-area location opened at Pinecrest in Orange, a mixed-use development by Fairmount Properties, in November 2018.

Condado Tacos will be at 203 Market St. in Westlake. Crocker Park is a mixed-use development by Stark Enterprises.
