The Community Farmers Market at Cleveland Clinic opens June 3 on the hospital’s main campus near University Circle. The market will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through Oct. 14 on Crile Mall, a green space between East 100th and East 96th streets, just south of Euclid Avenue.

Additional fresh markets will begin June 10 at Cleveland Clinic heath centers in Beachwood, Independence and Garfield Heights.

Last year more than 2,000 people visited Cleveland Clinic’s flagship market each week. Shoppers include employees, patients, visitors, and residents of the surrounding neighborhoods.

The market offers wellness events and health screenings, in addition to live music and cooking demonstrations.

Market stands will offer fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, pastries, flowers, eggs and dairy products, along with seasonal produce from 25 to 35 local farmers.
