Food & Wine Magazine, a monthly magazine published by the Meredith Corp., named Larder Delicatessen & Bakery as one of the best Jewish delis in America. The honor was given in March.

Jeremy Umansky founded the deli with his wife, Allie La Valle-Umansky, and partner, Kenny Scott. Larder celebrated its first anniversary in May.

Recently, the deli was also a semifinalist in the best restaurant category of the nationwide James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards. Additionally, Scene Magazine’s “Best of Cleveland” awards named Larder as best new restaurant in a community-polled survey.

Larder Delicatessen & Bakery is at 1455 W. 29th St. in Cleveland’s Ohio City Neighborhood’s Hingetown district.
