Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple’s Religious School is offering a free educational program for pre-K students, regardless of temple membership.

Classes are held on Sunday mornings, beginning Sept. 8.

“Families planning for their child’s Jewish education are often tentative and perceive that they might not be sure they will join a synagogue or a learning community,” Jordana Chernow-Reader, rabbi-educator at the temple, who directs all of the temple’s educational programs, said in a news release. “We want to meet people where they are, as parents discern the right plans for their Jewish Pre-K kids. In this free weekly program, children and parents can come participate with no barriers.”
