Israeli-American cellist Amit Peled will perform with CityMusic Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. May 16 at The Temple-Tifereth Israel,  26000 Shaker Blvd. in Beachwood.

The program will feature Mendelssohn’s “Overture in C Major,” Saint-Saëns’ “Symphony no. 2 in A Minor, Op. 55” and “Cello Concerto no. 1 in A Minor, Op. 33” (with Peled on cello) and Kodàly’s “Dances of Galànta.”

Peled, who is making his area debut, will also perform with CityMusic in Willoughby Hills, Lakewood and Cleveland from May 15 to May 19.
