To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the Cleveland Public Library will host its CPL150 Street Festival from 1 to 10 p.m. July 27 on Superior Avenue, between East 3rd and East 6th streets in Cleveland.

The festival will feature comedian Roy Wood Jr., a disc jockey from DaM-FunK, a Cuyahoga Community College vocal arts academy performance, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland’s Loaded performance series, Cleveland Inner City Ballet and a roller-skating performance. Other attractions include a Ferris wheel, a puppet parade, balloon animals and a public art installation. From 1 to 5 p.m., there will be family-friendly offerings like story times and school supply giveaways. In the event of rain, activities will be held inside the Louis Stokes Wing, 525 Superior Ave.

Additionally, seven branches will offer Lolly the Trolley rides from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Branches include Eastman, South, Sterling, Woodland, East 131st, Addison and Collinwood. For more information on the free festival, visit bit.ly/2RA4Nc1.
