Sarah Hurwitz, a former speech writer for President Barack and Michelle Obama, author and Harvard J.D., will serve as Notre Dame College’s 2019 Abrahamic Center distinguished lecturer during the college’s event at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Regina Auditorium, 1857 S. Green Road in South Euclid.

In her presentation, “Here All Along,” Hurwitz will answer questions about God, religion’s importance, prayer, giving back to the community and individuality using her personal experiences after rediscovering her Jewish heritage.

Hurwitz, a former lawyer, is also the author of “Here All Along: A Reintroduction to Judaism” about her reentry into Judaism. It was published in September and was the No.1 new release overall in Amazon’s Jewish Life category.
