Engage! Cleveland’s new, young professionals event, NEO Makers, will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Oatey University, 4675 W. 160th St. in Cleveland.

The event is in partnership with MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network and will feature Cleveland-based manufacturer and distributor of plumbing products, Oatey Co.

“The mission of MAGNET is to help small manufacturing businesses grow throughout Northeast Ohio,” said Matthew Fieldman, MAGNET’s vice president of external affairs. “One way to do that is to ensure there is a vibrant, connected community of young manufacturing workers of all backgrounds. While technology is critical to modern manufacturing, so are relationships, and we want to facilitate new connections between our companies and their employees in our region. The shared goals and alignment with Engage! Cleveland was perfect, and we’re excited to see if this new initiative will gain traction.”

Admission is $10. To purchase tickets, visit bit.ly/2nhrmXM.
