Park Synagogue, in association with Israel Bonds, will hold an Israel Bonds Tribute event honoring Gilda Cohen and Leonard Senkfor at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at 23737 Fairmount Blvd. in Beachwood.
Guest speaker is Jennifer Teege, author of “My Grandfather Would’ve Shot Me,” which details her discovery that she is the granddaughter of Amon Goeth, a Nazi commandant of the Plaszow concentration camp. Goeth was portrayed by Ralph Fiennes in “Schindler’s List.”
Cohen and Senkfor are being recognized for their dedication to Park Synagogue and the Jewish community, as well as their commitment to Israel and investment in Israel bonds.
