Are you an aspiring journalist? Do you want to get hands-on newsroom experience? Do you want to write stories, cover assignments, take photographs, use social media?
If you’re ambitious along those lines, the Cleveland Jewish News may have an opportunity for you.
The newly created Violet Spevack Editorial Internship is in addition to the summer internship named in honor of the Cleveland Jewish News’ longtime columnist. This one, though, is for a high school senior or local college student in pursuit of a career in journalism.
The 10-week position begins Sept. 3 and concludes Nov. 6. This is a paid internship of 20 hours a week working out of our Beachwood newsroom. There will be flexibility to work around your schedule.
Applicants should submit a resume and three writing samples to firstname.lastname@example.org and include “Fall Intern” in the subject line.
Deadline for applications is Aug. 12. Interviews will be held Aug. 13-31.
