Debbie Hoffmann, former national president of National Council of Jewish Women, will join Case Western Reserve University Siegal Lifelong Learning program’s “Tribe Talk: New Jewish Conversations” at 7 p.m. March 19 for an interactive, panel discussion on changing membership and leadership in Jewish communal life and organizations.
The monthly talks, which are in partnership with the Cleveland Jewish News and the Cleveland Jewish News Foundation, also feature regular panelists Siegal Lifelong Learning Executive Director Brian Amkraut and director Alanna Cooper.
As paths for engagement in American Jewish life change, Hoffmann will weigh in on the future of Jewish non-profit organizations that have long served as the backbone of communal life.
The series is at Landmark Centre in Beachwood and is free and open to the public.
Panelists also will discuss current events and recent Jewish news, and the audience can share input. About 55 people attended the last “Tribe Talk” program on Feb. 12.
