Leslie Rotsky, Stephen Rudolph and Lynn Singer and will be honored by Milestones Autism Resources at its 2019 annual benefit at 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.
Rotsky will be recognized for her exceptional service, while Rudolph will be cited as board champion and Singer as a community leader.
“This isn’t just a job for me,” Rotsky, who is Milestones conference director and has a son with autism, said in a news release. “It is a way to give back to those who have helped Jacob over the years and to support families like mine. I have experienced so much kindness from people, so much goodness from my community, friends, and strangers; this is my way of repaying my community.”
Rudolph, who is president and founder of HW Financial Advisors in Beachwood, has offered “invaluable professional expertise needed to drive meaningful strategic planning, but also the unique perspective as a family member that truly informs his leadership with our organization,” Milestones Executive Director Ilana Hoffer Skoff said in the release. “As an uncle, he can relate to the families we serve and it is a privilege for us to honor a board member whose involvement is driven by a passion for family and community service.”
Singer is a professor of population and quantitative health sciences, pediatrics, psychiatry and psychology at the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and as chair of the steering committee for the International Center for Autism Research and Education.
“Milestones is creating a profound impact on this community by being an integral partner in bridging the gap between research and application,” Singer said. “Milestones has helped expand the patient base for Case’s research and has helped connect families with the development of new research to ultimately make a difference in people’s lives.”
