Morton L. Mandel, local philanthropist, entrepreneur and businessman, died the morning of Oct. 16 at his home in Florida. He was 98.
His memorial service is at 1 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple Tifereth Israel, 1855 Ansel Road, Cleveland, according to a news release from the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
Visitation will immediately follow services until 5 p.m. at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, 11235 Bellflower Road, Cleveland. Valet parking will be available.
Additional visitation will continue on Oct. 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the home of Thom and Lisa Mandel, 1655 North Medina Line Road, Akron.
Graveside services will be private.
