The third annual Pals in Motion family fitness event attracted over 1,400 people Sept. 15 at Orange High School and raised more than $318,000 to help provide free programs and resources for those living with Parkinson’s disease, as well as contribute to research and bring awareness to the disease.

There were 69 teams and 89 sponsors of the event, which included a 5K run/walk, 1-mile walk, yoga and an obstacle course.

Since opening its doors in 2015, Warrensville Heights-based InMotion has grown to serve more than 1,100 people with Parkinson’s disease and their families here in Northeast Ohio, according to a news release.
