Todd Silverman was elected president of Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple board of directors after serving as the first vice president for the past year. He began his new role July 1.
Silverman’s family has been part of the temple for seven decades, dating back to Euclid Avenue. His involvement at the temple includes being board treasurer for two years, served on the temple’s strategic planning committee, chaired several Friends of Fairmount annual campaigns and is co-chair for the recent fundraiser honoring Rabbi Robert Nosanchuk’s 10th anniversary at the temple, according to a news release.
Silverman is president of Plantscaping & Blooms, a family-run business founded 40 years ago by his mother and a fellow Fairmount Temple member.
Also elected as officers were: Michele Krantz, vice president; Shelley Milin Marcus, vice president; Michael Perlmuter, vice president; Marcel Duhamel, treasurer; and Pam Berkson, secretary.
Outgoing president Michael Penzner will serve on the board as past president.
Elected to the board were: Nancy Adams, Lisa Danielpour, Jessica Grashoff, Patty Inglis, Andy Isaacs and Michele Krantz.
