Election night in Woodmere saw one incumbent and three newcomers get voted onto the village’s council, unseating two incumbents, according to final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections’ website.

Incumbent Jennifer Mitchell Earley retained her seat with 96 votes (17.6%), with newcomers Vivian J. Walker, former mayor Charles E. Smith Jr. and Nakeshia Nickerson, claiming seats for four-year terms, with 86 votes (15.7%), 83 votes (15.2%) and 82 votes (15%), respectively.

Defeated incumbents were Tennyson Adams with 78 votes (14.26%) and SharNette McCully with 47 votes (8.6%). Newcomers Seth L. Young and Beata Fleszar received 44 votes (8%) and 31 votes (5.7%), respectively.
