Rob Zimmerman will serve a fourth term on Shaker Heights City Council according to final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Nov. 7.  

Zimmerman received 4,978 votes, or 28.6 percent, making him the second-highest vote getter of the four candidates who were running for three council seats.

“I’m very grateful to the voters of Shaker Heights for returning me to city council,” Zimmerman said. “Shaker Heights is a remarkable community filled with very intelligent, committed and civically-minded residents. I am very excited about Shaker’s future and look forward to achieving our goals.”

Incumbent Anne E. Williams received 5,007 votes, or 28.8 percent, incumbent Tres Roeder picked up 4,068 votes, or 23.4 percent and Sarah Megenhardt received 3,341 votes, or 19.2 percent. Williams and Roeder will remain with Zimmerman on council.
