The Orange team finished undefeated in the eight-game regular season in the fall season of the Gross Schechter Men’s Basketball League.

Green finished runner-up with a 6-2 record, followed by Red, Black and Royal Blue, all at 5-3, Dark Blue, at 4-4, Yellow at 2-6, Purple at 1-7 and Grey at 0-8.

The league selected Royal Blue’s Shmuel Witkes, who led the league in defense rebounding and points scored as the most valuable player.

Other awards selected by the league include: top passer, Black’s Ilan Senders; best teammates, Royal Blue’s Ari Witkes, Red’s Sam Bernstein, Dark Blue’s Jon Schultz, Yellow’s Adam Jacob and Green’s Scott Baum; all-defense first and second teams: Shmuel Witkes, Max Kravitz, Ari Witkes, Joe Salamon, Jordan Krantz, Jordan Diamond, Jeremy Joseph, Aaron Lewis, Ted Einhorn and Mike Walter.
