On May 23, Damion Creel’s contract was renewed and coach Creel will return to the job he loves coaching football at Beachwood High School, his alma mater.

Fortunately, his student-athletes, their families and our community will continue to learn so much more than football through his example. Such as: how to handle adversity with integrity, restraint and patience; how to remain steadfast to your values, your goals and your dreams even when times are tough and the odds seem stacked against you and how to persevere without compromising who you are and what you believe.

He will continue to teach his student-athletes strength and conditioning, how to run plays, work ethic, accountability and sportsmanship. Yet above all, coach Creel will teach, through his example, true grit, commitment and integrity.

Today is a win for coach Creel, for the Beachwood High School football program and for our community.
